Granddad was reminiscing about the good old days....................
"When I were a boy, Momma would sent me down t'corner store wi' a dollah,
and I'd come back wi' five pounds o' potatoes, two loaves o'
bread, three pints o' milk, a pound o' cheese, a packet o' tea, an' 'alf
a dozen eggs.
Ya' can't do that now.
Too many dam' security cameras."

He go't the gov't cheese for free, though, didn't he Odie...hee hee. No Stealing, except from us TAXPAYERS who actually WORK FOR A LIVING.
Opie, You hit the nail on the head !
Bunni, I'm afraid it's legal stealing, unethical but legal.
Nowadays Granddad can just go to the 7-11 and get all that stuff on his food stamps card. And then use that same card to pull $20 out of the ATM. And then use the $20 to buy smokes and scratch-offs and maybe go home a millionaire!
Who says society hasn't made any progress?!?
Good point innominatus !
